Have you ever thought of making money online? If you have, have you started any? Or did you quit early thinking that you won’t make much out of it? Yes! Maybe it's just to be independent of your parents or it's because you want to buy something. Let it be any reason but the truth is that only about 30% of people succeed in making money online. Why? Because making money online is not everyone’s cup of tea. Not everyone has the patience and willpower to do it and it takes a lot of time and work. So, Let me tell some of the truth about making money online. 5 Things That People Need to have There are many things to keep in mind when starting to make money online:- The first important thing is Interest! Do not start anything if you are not interested in doing. Believe me, it won’t work out for you. If you are just there for the money and you do not have an interest in managing the online business/blog. you won’t make money! I can guarantee it. Let us take the example of a blog. You start it without any interest. Your aim was just the money. What you would do, is that you would blabber something in the posts without any real content, without any interest. And finally, you won’t make a cent and will lead you into quitting. Patience Most people quit early thinking that they won’t make money out of it. If you are a person who did this then you need to understand the fact that money doesn't come within one night. You have to work for it. If you are a full-time work person or a full-time student, you need to spend a considerable amount of time on your online business if you are intending to make money from it. I know there a lot of Youtube videos and blog posts that say "How to make $100 per day" and "How to make $10 per minute" and so on. All I want to say is that about 90% of them are Fake and the rest of them can only be done by those people who have been in the industry for quite a long time. Moving on to the next one. Thinking It's Easy! Most people think it’s an easy task to make money online but once they start an online business/blog, they start to realize the amount of effort that needs to be put. Let it be a blog or an online store or anything. For anything to be successful, you need to work hard for it as well as spend a great amount of time for it. If earning money online was easy, everyone would be here in the online space. And the next important thing about making money online? Investment! Let’s take an example. Let’s say you have started a Shopify store on a free trial (14 days) and you set your target to 14 days so that you don’t need to invest anything. Your Shopify store might have the right product but if it does not reach the right audience, it's of no use! You won’t make a cent out of it. And for that you need to start marketing your store and that my friend, requires investment. But 90% of the time, you won’t spend any money or you will look for free ways to market your product. And eventually, YOU End Up quitting! My point is, For most of the online business, you need to invest some money in it so that you see some positive results. Next one is looking for Shortcuts There is no such thing as a shortcut. You can’t make money in just one night. You just can’t….it’s quite impossible. You need to work your ass off, day and night for at least 6 months to make some dollars. A blog, for instance, takes time and great effort to build up. It can take more than 1 year to start making revenue out of it, assuming you have quality content and some viewers.
